Mike Hernandez

Senior Pastor

Pastor Mike Hernandez, Senior Pastor of Narrow Church, was saved by grace on May 4th, 1997, and is committed to introducing all people to the love of Jesus, raising up leaders for the next generation in Christ, and spreading the true gospel around the world. With a degree in Theology and Biblical Studies from Agape Bible College and further studies at Conviction for Christ Ministries, Pastor Mike leads the congregation through the Word of God book-by-book and verse-by-verse. As the CEO and Co-founder of Heal the Broken Ministries, Pastor Mike welcomes all families to visit

Jerry Lucero

Associate Pastor

In 1972, at just 12 years old, Pastor Jerry was diagnosed with malignant bone cancer and given a life expectancy of one year. During this challenging time, his oldest sister introduced me to Jesus Christ, and through His amazing grace, he repented of the sins and put his faith in Him. Pastor Jerry believes that Jesus died for my sins on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later, now seated at the right hand of God. Jesus not only gave me new and eternal life but also healed me that very night. Over 50 years later, He continues to preserve me to proclaim His praise. After graduating from NMSU in 1982 and attending Christ for the Nations Bible College, Pastor Jerry married my wife Julie in 2000. In 2010, the Lord called us from Las Cruces to Albuquerque, where he served in local churches and taught young men at Conviction Discipleship Center. On September 25th, 2022, Pastor Jerry was ordained as an associate pastor at Narrow Church. His prayer is that the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified in all who are called into His Church, as I humbly serve in the ministry of God’s Word.

Michael V. Hernandez

Young Adults Pastor

Pastor Michael Hernandez, son of Mike Hernandez, serves as the Young Adults Pastor at Narrow Church and is the COO of Heal the Broken Ministries. With a degree in Theology and Biblical Studies from Agape Bible College and further studies at Conviction Ministries, Pastor Michael is dedicated to guiding young adults in their spiritual journey and equipping them to live out their faith in Christ. Through their role at Narrow Church and Heal the Broken Ministries, Pastor Michael is committed to proclaiming the gospel and nurturing the next generation of believers.
